2017 Powder Puff Champions: Zeta Tau Alpha

Old Army Gentlemen's Society would like to congratulate Zeta Tau Alpha for winning the 15th annual Powder Puff Tournament! These women have put in months of hard work, and were rewarded by winning this tournament for the second year in a row! We are excited to say that this year's event was very successful and we were able to raise money for our philanthropies. Thank you to all who came out to support your teams, and a special thank you to all the sororities/women's organizations for participating. Finally, a special thank you to our title sponsors: David Gardner's Jewelers, Good Bull BBQ, and JML Ranch. We hope to see you all next year!

Aggies First Spotlight: November

The Old Army Gentlemen's Society would like to honor member Nasan Tsengeg with the November Aggies First spotlight. The Aggies First spotlight is a monthly award given to a member of OL' AGS who truly embodies our motto of "Aggies First, Gentlemen Always" through service to Texas A&M. Nasan is currently serving as the President of the Student Engineers' Council (SEC). The SEC was founded in 1939 and serves as the representative voice for the 18,000 students in the College of Engineering. As President, Nasan is the official student representative to university administrators, has weekly meetings with the deans, and is a sitting member of the Department Head Council. The SEC also hosts a multitude of events throughout the year, one of which is the largest student run career fair in the nation, with over 400 recruiters and 10,000 students in attendance. Because of these large scale events, SEC has been able to give back to the University through a $1,000,000 donation to the Zachry Engineering Education Complex. During his time at A&M, Nasan has also served as a member of MSC FLI as well as a College of Engineering Ambassador. He is pursuing his undergraduate degree electrical engineering and plans to enter the energy industry upon graduation. We are very proud of all that members like Nasan have accomplished and their leadership at Texas A&M! Congratulations Nasan!
